HI EVERYBODY!By now, you should have collected 16 books. 4 Books per design! PREETY arent they?!Please sell each book at $5. There are more to come after you cleared these 16 books! For all excellent salesmen/women, you may approach Sye Yuet (25-07, 98760269) or Miss Koh for more!!The deadline for sales is on 4 Oct, thursday meeting! Please bring the full amount then and pass to Sye Yuet. In any case should a meeting be not held, please pass the $ to Sye Yuet in school and she will be stationed at the Canteen till 530pm.

yup..dat's how we,ocipyn(YELL) spent our sports carnival this year, selling icy cooling drinks helping dehydrated athletes to quench their thirst while once in a while taking part in the games ourselves .With all our effort,we manage to raise a sum of almost $400.Although it may be quite little compare to our target which is $12k,i think this is a good kick-start to our fundraising projects.Most essentially , I hope we enjoy ourselves in every project that we were/are going to pursue.Lastly, i wish to thank everyone for their sweat and blood in bringing us nearer to our aim ..$12,000 to $11,606yay hooray..we can do it!! JIA YOU! YELL

hi everyone again..hmm yup so tommorow's our first fundraisin projects .let's all of us work with fun and jokes around.Shall we not too stress over the duty rooster,if u can't make it for dat specific time slot just swap,can?I understand quite a number of us are representing class and pdp ,hmmm can we promise each other that we'll still try to make ourselves available most of the time n help out whenever the rest needs us?..oh ya! while helping out,dun get to enjoy yourself in the sports carnival too..hope u guys will have a memorable day tmr >.< meiyun

i hv the ice cube supplier since pin qi 's not free today.they hv increased their price cuz the price quoted by pin qi was last year..they r selling at 5 dollar per 18 kg now ..so ya, it's still cheap ..n decided dat we order from them ledi, is it ok?if nothing goes wrong,we'll be able to collect 3 pack of 18 kg ice cubes on this thurs n if it's not enough,den they are willing to come again.=)so yup..maybe some of us need to go to the carpack to carry the ice cube to the stalls.
Re:Jac's suggestionit's really true what she said,.i think everyone shud be there to help out.however,i thought by placing ppl into this schedule will actually ensure dat's there's at least someone in the stalls at every moment.so,whoever who's on duty but not free will need to help back up for himself/herself.Nevertheless,having a duty rooster does not mean that others can seat back and relax..should we help one another as whenever we r free.regarding the groupings by logistics ,publicity,fundraising and programming rite,i'm sorry dat i shud hv do some 'mix and match' before grouping ..will take this into consideration in the next groupings.hmm,actually i think we can still work with one another regardless whether we r from programming or publicity or etc despite how the duty rooster has placed us.it's on us to decide how we work with each other,i mean every member should be helping out every moment even if our names r not in the list.In fact,it doesn't mean that our jobs r done just accomplishing the stall duty ,we can always help out in others like the walking AD and going around the school to sell.We can't be having 2 walking AD going aroung the school for the whole day,i bet they will be tired too..LOL..meiyun

I suggest we don't plan out the schedule according to logistics, publicity etc instead we should have a chance to work with all other team members. Anyway, some groups have a quite a number of people representing class and pdp, so maybe we need to go find out how's the carnival going to be held before allocating members for duty. But in any case, most importantly is that we must have our own initiative to go down to the stall to help whenever we are free during the two days.

previously it was 4 dollars for each 18kg pack..so if it is still the same price..i m sure it is a good deal for us...but if u all can find cheaper ones it would definitely be better((((:some suggestions:anyway..was just wondering if we can increase the price and quantity of the ice pops(though this doesn't follow the law of demand...)?hhaa..like we can be a "one dollar shop"...i suppose one dollar is considered quite/very affordable for most...(i did a slight survey la.haha)or can we introduce a system where by people can choose to pay more for charity??please tell me soon. so i can put the details into the publicity material...

In addition to our drinks sales, we 'll also be selling ice pops.Hmm,I understand that this decision is made quite abruptly but then,you see..we are able to get the ice pops at a reasonable low cost.Hence, it's rather profitable to sell them.So..yup.=) dat's y>>will be selling around 60 sticks, at 50 cents each.

Logistics for Sports Carnival FundraisingAs mentioned in the minutes for today's meeting, the following people/committee will be in charge of buying the following items. So if you have cheaper alternatives/sources, please approach any of the mentioned people/ICs. (:
Charmaine will be getting the drinks (100 plus/H2O/Green Tea/Coke)
Jacquelyn will be getting the cups for the drinks.
Yee Chuin can provide the ladel
Meiyun will bring the pails.
We are in need of ice coolers/ice box/coolers!!
